Reading
the Tech book and the Art book please!
I can tell a many of your are ignoring the texts because of your simplistic questions and comments.
I don't expect you to have memorized them, but the information should at least be familiar.

Critique
Yes I know this first critique is taking time, but it is a valuable use of time.
Section is the only opportunity to really talk about your work and get feedback from other students.
I am extending the time on this one because I feel it's critical for you to get one good crit, not just brief shows of work.
We can't take this much time for the others, so the next big crit will be for your Final Projects.

This is an assignment where you will have to go beyond your normal way of seeing and working with images.
I'd rather not be able to recognize the source.
Think design and composition.
Make a new coherant image - it should have it's own presence as a new art piece.
