Craft Is Important!

Read Critique guidelines before next section (it's short!)

Next week - bring mounted print and a screen version of the file

• At start of class turn in mounted prints on small table in discussion area of lab
  I do not want to see anyone mounting work when I get there!

• At start of class put screen version on the Mac used for projecting
  Screen version means 72 dpi and appropriate print size for viewing on screen
  • Put file in "montage" folder on Workspace
    If I'm not there yet go ahead and create that folder
    

Mounting

• Doesn't have to be on white, square, or even a paper product, but have a reason for it
  If the image isn't working fancy matting won't make it work
• Please don't use floppy posterboard, and no glass
• Adhere image with spray mount, adhesive transfer tape, or other carefully applied adhesive
  Don't be sloppy about it unless you have a good aesthetic reason
• If you want to make a larger print without a fancy printer try Tiling
  You can see me for help with that during the week, seeing it done helps
• Appropriate supplies are available at the Bookstore
  

Give yourself plenty of time!
It will take longer than you think to make this piece
