Tiling a Print
Tiling
An easy way to make large prints with letter size paper in Photoshop, good for testing a large print size
Make rulers visible
Increase print size to total size wanted (even numbers will be easier - you'll see)
Use rectangle marquee to select an area that will print on one letter-size page (use rulers as guides)
Start at a corner and move the marquee methodically in rows, use arrow keys to nudge, zoom in for accuracy
Print each selection by selecting this option in the print dialog box
To assemble the panels I recommend Scotch Brand Adhesive Transfer Tape (neater than glue between pages)
Trim one margin of a panel with exacto knife and straightedge (carefully!)
Overlap on margin of adjoining panel and match up images carefully
Have the adhesive on the margin right to the edge of image, and to the edge of the panel at each end
Repeat this technique when you have two more panels in a strip and are ready to attach it to another strip of panels
