I found it interesting that with editing, this friendly advice can seem rather hostile. The segment I chose is right on that edge, that moment when it is not clear which way it may go. It reminds me of how people are told not to return direct eye contact with a dog they don' t know because it will be seen as a threat. I appreciate the directness which is in the text, brought out by the image. Is there a threat? No, but some people see the simple act of direct contact as a threat. There is no game. This image was done before the others, and at first it may not seem to fit, but I see this piece almost as a response to the others. This is what I am addressing in the other images, this directness that is discouraged.
